The Online catalog is working extremely slow. Sierra clients will not load, so all staff functions are down. I've submitted a ticket to III and have contacted IT.

Minor Issue Resolved

The clear hold functionality isn't working in Sierra. The issue was reported to Innovative on Sept., 18th. We are still waiting on a fix.

Spoke with Devin from III. It looks like the Holds process stopped working. He is investigating why it stopped. He will then turn the process back on once he knows what caused the problem.

Daven form III restarted the process, but was unable to determine an underlying cause. If you experience any issues with requesting please let me know ASAP. Thank you!

The AD students noticed there were no paging slips. I did a test request and while it allowed me to place the request, it did not show up on their screen. potentially they have several paging slips waiting but they are not getting them.

This is not a paging slip issue this is a hold issue. No holds are being recorded even though patrons get a success message when they try to place a hold.

I'm closing this issue as I've opened a new one above. Still not resolved, but III is working on it.

Maintenance Maintenance

Sierra will be upgrading to the latest version, starting at 5:00pm on August 18th. The upgrade is supposed to take around an hour. During that time the catalog, sierra clients, and web reports will all be down.

This Maintenance is scheduled from 12:00am 8/18/15 until 12:00am 8/19/15.

MeLCat items are not always checked in correctly and items remain on the patron account. Work around is to change item status to @ - MeL Loan and check in again. Innovative is aware of this issue and is working on a fix.

This doesn't seem to be happening anymore. This was never reported as a resolved issue from Sierra, but we've had two upgrades since this was first reported and no recent issues. I'm closing this, but if the issue arises again I'll post an update.

When creating a list you cannot use the operator "=" when searching fund codes. Work around is to use the operator "has". Innovative is aware of this issue and is working on a fix.
